Case study · Full-stack SaaS

The workspace social media managers needed didn't exist. So I built it.

SocialEra is a full SaaS platform I designed and built, from the interface to the backend. It replaces the pile of tabs a social media manager juggles with one calm place to plan, approve, schedule, and see what worked.

The brief

A social media manager's real job isn't posting. It's everything around it. Planning the calendar, moving each post through editing, chasing client sign-off, scheduling across accounts, then checking what actually worked.

Almost none of that lives in one place. A spreadsheet for the calendar, a board for production, DMs and email for approvals, a separate app just to schedule, another tab for analytics. The work is fragmented by default, and the tools that exist are built for posting, not for how the job actually feels.

A dozen tabs vs. one place

The usual setup · a dozen tabs

  • A spreadsheet for the calendar
  • A separate board for production
  • Approvals lost in DMs and email
  • One more app just to schedule
  • Analytics stuck in its own silo

SocialEra · one workspace

  • Calendar, board, and scheduling in one flow
  • Client approvals built into the work
  • Every brand and account in one place
  • AI for captions and the busywork
  • What worked, next to where you plan

What I built

So I designed and built the tool that didn't exist. Next.js front to back, Supabase for the database, auth, and storage. Here's what's inside.

Content calendar

Plan the whole month in a single view.

Kanban production

Move every post from idea to editing to scheduled.

Client approvals

Sign-off built into the flow, not buried in DMs.

Multi-account

Every brand and platform managed from one place.

Scheduling

Queue posts across accounts without leaving the workspace.

AI assistant

Captions and the repetitive busywork, handled.

The result

SocialEra is live in private beta with more than 50 social media managers using it. It replaced the pile of tabs with one place that matches how the work actually feels.

The whole thing, the interface, the database, the auth, the AI, the scheduling, is something I designed and built. When the tool doesn't exist the way it should, I build it.
